I don’t do too much pontificating around astrology these days – mostly because every day, these days, is a wild orchestration of challenging energy. Look at this line up of energy: Mars is now in opposition to Pluto, and the sun is square to both of them. We won’t even mention they’re all in fixed energy, Leo, Aquarius and Taurus, respectively. You might notice as well, that Black Moon Lilith, also square Mars and Pluto, is in opposition to the Sun, in Scorpio, completing the fixed-energy grand cross (red lines). Upheaval is the word. If that’s not enough, North Node, Venus and Saturn are coordinating their own side-drama, a shake-up that grabs your head and points it straight at where you’re failing to follow your destiny in terms of what you love, where your passion lies. I love it. I love when the universe holds mirrors to our faces. We often get a lot of leeway (to keep our hearts in the sand) but not any more. Time is up. I’ve been saying it now for a couple of days … stay in your lane 😅 Yes, this can be difficult when you live with others. The astrology right now is in-tense, in-tension. We have a grand cross between Mars, The Sun, Pluto and Black Moon Lilith. These are in the fixed energies of Leo, Taurus, Aquarius and Scorpio. This is powerhouse energy, all in tension with each other, so if you’re confused, thinking everyone else is the root of your problems, well, you’re wrong, but more gently, the universe is using its big guns here, to grab yer head and point your face straight at the problem. Generally speaking, that’s a refusal to look in the mirror.
Often what we do is fall into a place of indignation. It feels logical to blame everything and everyone outside of ourselves when they feel even the least bit agitated. Remember, everything outside of you is a projection of that which is brewing within. Sometimes astrologers will say things like, “Pluto is encouraging you to take back your power!” and you may incorrectly interpret that in a way that fuels your sense of indignation.
There’s a very subtle shift in perception that has to happen here if you want to understand clearly how these energies orchestrate to propel you along your path. Try to avoid those who reinforce this perspective that something outside of you is stealing your peace. It is true, for example, that Pluto is telling you to reclaim your power, but not from anything outside of yourself. It’s powerfully telling you that YOU are the one stealing it from yourself. It points right at it.
Queue the shadow work
I’m not going to explain this in depth today. If it’s for you, you’ll ask for more about it. But the short of it is this. We all carry thoughts and beliefs that are imprisoning us. That’s what this astrology targets. It’s making it very difficult to continue with the lies we tell ourselves. We’re being driven straight into what needs to clear, and rather than facing it (go watch my video on self-loathing) we get irritated that something is pushing us to face it. “No no no!” we say, “I don’t want to face it,” let alone admit that we were the one doing it to ourselves.
Having gone through a ton of this personally, I cannot encourage you more to take advantage of this energy and JUST GIVE IT UP. Stop fighting. Give up. Throw your hands up and fall into the arms of the only thing that has ever been with you in every moment … love, Source, call it what you will. But it’s time to stop fighting, resisting, pushing blindly (to pretend you don’t see what you don’t want to see … in yourself). Call in your higher self, your guides, the Sophia Dragon tribe … they are literally standing there with you waiting for you to ask ❤️🔥
