The Cosmic Receiver and The Translating Anchor

This content was originally recorded as a voice memo and transcribed so the language and cadence is a bit different than my usual style. As I’m not an anchor, I didn’t take much time to edit this, but the text below can be significantly different than what you’ll find in the recording. Either way, I hope you find this illuminating. There are a number of tangents I have going right now with various people, and this deep thought is sort of rising to the surface, this whole aspect of there being, let’s just say two, for the sake of this conversation, two main groups of people. There are those who act like receivers between heaven and Earth and then there are those who anchor things into reality, and by reality I’m talking about the 3D. The receivers are working with reality as well, but it’s those realities beyond the 3D.

So we have these people, the receivers, who have their consciousnesses attuned to these great big, massive swaths of what … what do you call it … these other realities, all realities, all at the same time, and you can think about that when they are attuned that way, they can’t just shift gears or cut it off to anchor it themselves, while they can do that to a certain degree it is painful in a sense to cut yourself off from that which you’re wired to connect to.

Now the anchors, the ones who take that information, in a sense, is it information? I have to use some word. We’ll just use information. They take this information and they anchor it into reality. They do this in a way that makes it readable, seeable, touchable, experiential for other people.

For example, you might have a receiver who’s sort of channeling their higher self. I don’t know maybe they’re having a good day and feel connected to the universe and they’re bringing forth all this wisdom. Some listening to that might be like “Whoa, wait a minute I have to write this down!” They then write a blog post about it that other people can read. That’s anchoring the information.

Now the one channeling the information can’t do that because when you’re connected in that way, to even pick up a pencil cuts you off from that stream of consciousness in a way. That’s why a receiver cannot anchor things in the way that an anchor can.

Anchors don’t go connecting like that. It cuts them off from their capacity to put things into form, to anchor things.

Okay, so you see these two groups of people are interdependent. In a sense they are reliant on each other, to bring forth digestible things for others. One brings in the information; the other puts it into form. Yes, it is possible for one person to perform both, but it’s not ideal. Think of this as two overlapping circles. One person can only be one circle. They’ll excel at one or the other, and can perform some of the other circle’s functions – the ones that overlap – but they’ll never be able to do everything that both can do together.

Now tying this to astrology, because of course I would, the anchoring energies are the masculine feminine energies of air and earth . The air is the masculine. It understands the mechanics of things. It knows how to order and how various things mechanically work together. It knows how to assemble them to make a functional pattern in a sense.

The feminine anchoring aspect is earth. The feminine knows how to make things digestible in an energetic sense. The masculine air energy creates things like machines or databases. Websites where you can look up information … machines that do things for us. These are tangible, anchored ideas that originally came into our reality through a receiver. They come into form this way via a masculine airy anchor.

The anchoring feminine earth energy anchors wisdom into experiences. These are like your body workers, the people who dance, sing, write, or create art. They express the wisdom through a very anchoring activity, a literal 3D expression of the experience. It is to make it digestible, just as the air masculine anchoring energy does.

Masculine anchors build things. Feminine anchors build experiences. Either way, they’re taking information from a receiver and putting it into form.

All right, where’s all this wisdom coming from? It’s coming from the other group, the group that’s connected into the cosmos, listening, listening on a 1000 million channels all at once. Yes, they are, a little … out there. Please do not judge them for not being present in your 3D world. It is not their job, and for the record, I am one of those people in this second group, a receiver, connected to the cosmos.

Now who are these types? What are the masculine and the feminine astrological energies there? Well, it’s the fire energy, the masculine, and it’s the water energy, the feminine.

This group is much more difficult to explain. We don’t have great words for receivers as they were sort of written out of history and the language for their function went with them. You can also mix together the idea that a receiver can be masculine/feminine or the information coming through the receiver can be masculine/feminine. This piece is nebulous by nature. Work with me.

The masculine receiver carries messages of expansion and illumination. It’s an outward, expansive energy. It’s the fire. It illuminates greater perspectives and brings the challenge to burn off stagnancy from your energetic field. See and expand. Breathe in life and leave behind limits that bind you. Relax, express, expand.

Again, this is not about anchoring. The fire and the water energies, fire masculine, water feminine … It’s not about creating anything. It’s not even about the physical expression of it. It is … THE IT … that could be expressed. A feminine anchor may dance it. A masculine anchor may build a database to store it, but the anchoring expression is not the same as THE IT. THE IT is what the receivers bring through and the masculine IT is expansive and illuminating.

The feminine receiver brings deep and moving emotional currents. This is the water energy carrying some of the most profound ah-ha wisdom that’s (I find) almost impossible to anchor. This information through the receiver is so complex that it’s almost never effectively translated and given form. It requires very complex expressions, usually involving multiple forms of expression. For example, the combination of very moving music with almost shocking or stunning lyrics. The feminine receiver goes into the deepest potentials, revealing experiences we can have, the kinds that emancipate us from darkness, but it usually requires dancing through the darkness with the key to find the locked doors.

OK, so if you relate to the fire or the water, this is an emotional experience. It’s a passionate experience. It’s a moving, sensual experience, not yet in form, but in potential. That is what receivers work with – pure potential. THE IT is the potential and when an anchor translates THE IT and brings it into form, some of that potential has to be left behind, but they do capture part of the potential for their creation and thus, others can experience it.

For receivers, the information you bring forth is carried through the passion, it’s carried through this very moving, powerful, flooding emotion. A pure receiver can take that, and try to put it into form, but they’ll never do it as well as someone who is a native anchor, whose function it is to translate, and then bring it into form. Receivers are to immerse themselves in this experience of these greater, infinite realities. You’re not supposed to pin them down, or hold them to limits, or to remind them to remain in the 3D alone. You’re not supposed to get them to make a fixed decision. There’s no such thing to a receiver.

This is the mistake that the anchors make. Now I can understand the frustration and the desire, because their job is to translate and anchor the information, THE IT. It’s like, “Give me the data already! Give me the stuff! Stop speaking like you’re in la la land.”

You don’t really want to say that to receivers. You want them, if you’re an anchoring type, to just be in their stream of consciousness. Get them to record it, just as I’m recording this. Just record it and worry about organizing it later. And if you don’t have enough information to find the structure, if you don’t think you have enough to anchor it, ask them to reconnect, and to bring forth more clarity.

That’s how this works between these two groups.

There is a frustration, and believe me, I have been in an experience of this very thing that has caused a lot of frustration for everyone involved. It is, when you’re partnered-up, we’ll say with others in groups, or even if it’s just two people, one of which is an anchoring type and one of which is this sort of fiery moving water, passion, emotional receiver … when you’ve got two people performing each of these roles, or you have a group where some are translators trying to anchor and others are trying to bring the information in … you’re going to encounter this struggle.

Translators want receivers to get to the point and just give them the facts. It makes their job easier if you’re just delivering facts. Anchors just create a summarized list of facts and their anchoring job is done. However, you can’t just take the easy stuff from the transmission. Receivers are very sensitive about the retention of authenticity when this information comes through. Receivers experience the authenticity of the information. They have the literal experience of it as it comes through them, and they rely on the translator to work to grasp it as best they can, in order to give it tangible form for others.

Realize right here, the there will *always* be a disconnect in this moment between the hand-off of the information to the translating anchor. If the receiver could translate and anchor the information all by themselves, well there’d be no difference between the experience they had and the experience someone else has of the anchored experience they create of it. However, it’s rare to find someone who can receive and translate and anchor all by themselves. There are of course exceptions to this. No need to remind anyone. We all know that.

So, we have this issue, this struggle between the anchors and the receivers … the anchors try to make their jobs easier by demanding the receivers be … less receivery. The receivers try to make their jobs easier by demanding the anchors be less anchory. I’ll come back to this.

For now, know that receivers have the responsibility to ensure authenticity of the information they bring forth. A translator can’t say, “Ya, ya, ya, let’s just summarize that like this…” in order to call their job done. An anchor fails if the authenticity is not retained to a realistic degree. Receivers are very sensitive about this in the same way, for example, a song-writer might fuss over the use of a key, an artist over the use of color or a writer over the use of words. These things matter. The translation of the information matters to the receiver, especially since the information may be seeded with frequencies that must be preserved.

Anchors — understand the potential of mastery in your role. You may not even understand the lengths to which you can go to preserve authenticity. It is what will set you apart from all others who perform your function.

Now, on the other hand you people like me, who have your head out in the cosmos and you’re swept away, or passionately on fire about these realities you find yourself in … realize you have got to do your job.

You are in a human body.

You have got to bring it down here.

You cannot play out there infinitely.

You’re not doing any one any good if you get lost out there.

And you can’t pretend you’re bringing it back while secretly still out there. Trust me, I’ve done it. It doesn’t go well. Do not get swept away.

I have personally made the mistake of thinking that my part was the … most important, and that you, whoever you might be, I’d say, “Meet me halfway.” But I I think in retrospect, I was meaning you come all the way to me. We’re going to leave that humorously there. This is a big lesson right now for me.

We cannot, to those of us considered receivers, we cannot just go way the hell out there where we can go, and assume that our anchors can just follow us with a steno pad, across the universe. They can’t. Their task has nothing to do with being “out there.” The task is to be where they are and to take what we bring back to them, to translate and anchor it. Together, the receiver and the translating anchor … we’re all making it possible to have digestible things in the 3D, in human reality.

That is what these two functions do. That is what our job is, as humans in one of these two buckets. So those of you with me, in this crazy cosmic receiver bucket, you have to realize that you have to stay connected in equal partnership with your anchor, because if you don’t, they will resist you to an equal degree that you’ve gone off your rocker.

I laugh now. I laugh now. All right. Hopefully I’ve made these two buckets clear. And of course, there are probably other buckets. Please understand this is just an analogy, to sort of describe two aspects, two functions we can play.

Now some of you are probably like me and can straddle both of these functions, to varying degrees. Interestingly, if you look at your astrological chart, you will be able to determine which energies you have the most of and it’s notable that fire is my number one energy. Air is a close second. I can straddle both of those, both buckets as receiver and anchor. I know how to put things into form, but it is not my primary function. My primary function is to be attuned out, to be listening into the cosmos and to be receiving. I am a receiver. I can translate and anchor things. I write these posts in (hopefully) an entertaining way. I build websites to make information accessible. I *can* do this, but it’s taxing. It’s not native. I learned to do it because I do not have an anchor who can translate what I receive.

I have never had an anchor in my life. Never in a group or in a partnership, one-on-one partnership with anyone, have I had an anchor. I’ve had to do a lot of anchoring myself.

Do I get things done?

Do I ever produce something truly digestible?

Well, I do it in instances like this. I record things. I write things. That’s as anchored as I will ever get by myself. They’re not great or anywhere near perfect. I’m too impatient for that – my attention is in the ethers, listening. I can’t easily shift gears to bring it into form and if I do, I’m cut off from my native wiring. I can straddle these two, but I don’t have a true anchor who can do that function in the best way possible so that I’m free to be a receiver in the best way possible.

So think about where you fall. You can look at your chart to know which energy is most prominent. That’s going to be your preferred bucket. You’ll have a preference even though you might be able to do both to varying degrees. You’ll be better at one.

Let me know your thoughts. I’m curious to know where you think you reside, whether or not you’ve had someone to be your partner, and how that experience is or was … is it, was it a struggle? Have you figured out how to do it together?

I’m partly recording this because without conscious awareness that this is actually going, on an anchor and a receiver will probably struggle significantly, each one so devoted to do their job, to do their mission, to perform their function, that they will resist the assertion of the other, to move in the opposite direction.

“You move toward me so I don’t have to work so hard!”

There’s supposed to be that resistance, that push and pull between the anchor and the receiver, so that you both wake up and realize what you’re actually trying to do together.

This is what I am giving words to, this is what I’m illuminating … the cosmic receiver and the translating anchor. They come together to perform a very divine function on behalf of humanity right now, and if you find yourself in this situation, well, there ya go. Here’s your clarity.

All right amen. I love talking about this stuff. Let me know if you resonate.
