Ever wondered how astrology could possibly work? Most people don’t care – they don’t care because they don’t believe a rock, floating in space, could have any influence on us, or they don’t care because they know it just works and don’t need to know how.

In this video, I lay out another perspective, fostered over many years of spiritual work. Astrology for me was always a fascination, not so much on the collective level, but more so on the personal level. Too often I inadvertently changed the lives of others when I looked at their charts and revealed the magnificence I’d see. Each of the 12 signs brings super powers to the bearer and when you point this out to someone, they tend to demand (like I did initially), “What is this voodoo?!?”

Good afternoon. I got a question today about astrology. So I’m going to explain how astrology works or why it works or what the deal is with it. This is an interesting topic to say the least because people who are into astrology don’t talk about this, and I think it’s because they don’t know and honestly they don’t care. Sometimes, you know, electricity works, right? You hear people say this all the time: “I don’t know how electricity works, but I believe in it.” Astrology, I think for people who are into astrology, they think the same thing. It doesn’t matter how it works. They know it’s real. They can correlate it. You got to study astrology. You just know. If you know, you know.

But here’s from a very cosmic spiritual standpoint how astrology works. This is my truth. This is the way I understand it as of today. And all of my personal spiritual work, the things that I have encountered along the way, have brought me to this kind of conclusion. And it’s come through many different experiences and sources and this kind of thing. I’m not proclaiming I’m right, but for right now, this is the rightest I’ve found to explain it. And it is this: You have to understand some certain things about the nature and mechanics of our universe. It is not what the scientists tell you. They are perceiving things through a lens that is commonly accepted by earthlings. But earthlings have a very skewed, purposefully distorted view of the universe. It is purposefully distorted to kind of maintain the illusion of what’s going on on the planet. Loaded comment, I know, completely different video. We’re not talking about that. Just know that what scientists perceive is through a very, I don’t want to say, maybe distorted is the wrong word. But they’re viewing from one, they’re viewing reality from one point. And there’s a veil, we’ll say, in between that point and the greater reality that they’re chasing. They may get it one day. They may come to the understanding. The spiritual people, the very accomplished spiritual people, are already there. We don’t need scientists to get us there. Because yeah, if you know, you know. We already understand how this works.

And that is the nature of this universe and experience is consciousness. It is not a physical universe. Scientists actually do know that right now. They already know that part. They just don’t understand how it works. Spiritual people understand how it works. And that is consciousness. Okay, there. Now I know that’s a loaded term as well. What does that mean? Again, different video. Consciousness, but think about yourself. You aren’t your body. You kind of know that. Because you can daydream. When you daydream, that’s actually your consciousness being aware of other realities. And you don’t require your body to have that experience. That might not be the best way to explain consciousness, but it gets you sort of thinking in that direction. It’s an awareness that transcends the body. If you die right now, you’re still here. You’re here, you’re just not in the body. The physical vehicle that you’re animating has died. But your consciousness, your awareness, everything about you is still present. Okay?

Our whole universe is consciousness. It’s alive, every single aspect of it. And that’s because all matter, all physical, what we perceive as physicalness, physical things, those things don’t actually exist. And again, our scientists know that. They don’t actually exist. They appear that way because consciousness has chosen a thought or a feeling, chosen to entertain an idea. And light, what’s the word? I wanted to say coagulates, but that’s not the word I want. Light forms around that idea and becomes like that vase of flowers. Not real, fake flowers, but still that is a concept or an idea that someone had and light formed around the idea, became matter. And it stays in matter because other people believe in the idea. All right. That’s basically why we have a physical universe. It’s consciousness playing with ideas. There are personal ideas and then there are shared collective ideas. We all know what a chair is. We all accept what a chair is. When you come into certain experiences, certain collective realities like the earth plane, the three-dimensional physical plane, there is an agreement that you make that you will accept certain ideas as real or as taking form. And that’s why we all point at a chair and say, “Chair, we know what it is. We know what it does.”

Okay. Back to astrology. That’s the preface. You have to understand the universe is consciousness. It’s just one being entertaining thoughts and ideas and potentials. Okay. Why does astrology work? Well, all things in the universe are consciousness. Some of these things are… Well, all things, everything is a body for consciousness. But some forms of consciousness are primitive or basic, we’ll say, and some forms of consciousness are extremely evolved to the point where they can co-create, we’ll say. I am not the expert on this topic, believe it or not. So, there are probably people out there who can say this better than I can, find words more easily or better words. I think all forms of consciousness recreate or propagate themselves. But there are more advanced forms of consciousness and basic forms as well. Okay. So, there are levels to this. Advanced forms of consciousness can take on, can animate a physical form. Your body is a physical expression of your consciousness. It is the outward expression of everything you think and feel. And some of these forms of consciousness will take on the form of a planet or a comet or smaller things like asteroids or dwarf planets. All right? These are not just rocks floating in space. These are forms of consciousness just like us. They can have personalities to a certain degree. Depends on the form of consciousness.

Maybe you’re doing the math here. You know what I’m going to say. These planets in our solar system are a form of consciousness. They are the bodies for the consciousness that is animating them. And those planets, they have an archetypal type of energy to them. They aren’t like us. You and I are not planetary consciousnesses. The sun is also, every star is a very, very high level form of consciousness. It has a personality. So you can sort of do the math here. Astrology isn’t, it isn’t some, it’s funny to me that people even think this, that a rock floating in space has some influence on you. That is not, that’s not what’s happening. These are archetypal energies interacting with each other just as you and I interact with each other. If I walk into a room and you’re having a bad day, I’m probably going to know it. I’ll read your body language. I’ll feel the vibes you’re giving off. And let’s say it’s not you. Let’s not make it personal. Let’s just say there’s somebody in the room who’s not having a good day. You know, you’ve walked into those rooms. One person can bring the vibe of an entire room down or elevate it, can bring the vibe up. That’s consciousness expressing itself, right?

And sometimes, you know, just as two people may not get along or might get along famously, when these archetypal energies expressing in these planets, when they make aspects to each other, when they’re opposing each other, that archetypal energy has a certain impact. It influences the room in which these planets exist. And you got to, you have to think big here. The solar system is a very big place. We’re in it. We are in the line of fire or the line of love when these planets make squares and conjunctions and oppositions and trines. These are called aspects in astrology. It’s either challenging energy or it’s harmonious energy. But these forms of consciousness at that archetypal level have these kinds of impacts. It’s an energetic impact or an atmosphere that’s created in the room we call our solar system in which we live. Okay?

The analogy of like walking into a room or a particular, let’s say you’re at work and you got to go to a business meeting, you’re all in this boardroom and that boardroom, the minute you walk in there, you know, there’s an atmosphere to it. It’s negative, neutral, or positive to some varying degrees. You’ve had that experience. Why is that? It’s because people are creating that atmosphere. They do it with their consciousness. The thing that people fail to understand is that this is how the entire universe works. Everything is consciousness and every physical form that we know of is animated. It forms around consciousness. Okay? And just as we create the atmosphere in a room, so do they. That’s how astrology works. It’s just a different level of consciousness that we’re not very aware of as humans.

You’ll hear people talk about archetypal energy. Many famous psychologists, was it Jung who really got into it? One of those big psychology guys, I think it was Jung, talked about archetypal energies and how we all will gravitate towards a few key archetypes and play out those roles. Why do we do that? Why do you think we do that? It’s our nature. Our nature is consciousness. So that’s what astrology does. It maps the movements of these big archetypal energy bodies. They are personalities. They have relationships with each other. I know that’s a lot. That is a very big jump. I’m not somebody, I told this to my friend today at breakfast. I’m not somebody who gives you the next step. I’m like, here’s the end game. Find out how to get there. You figure it out, right?

This is the end game when it comes to astrology. It’s about consciousness and archetypal energy and how these energies create atmospheres that then can impact us. The more unconscious you are as a human, the more susceptible you are to these very powerful energy currents that we move through. I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but right now there are huge currents causing disruption in relationships, we’ll say. Many, many, many disruptive breaking relationships right now. It’s just the current we’re in. If you’re not conscious of this, you could be going through these situations in your life and not realizing its influence at a much, much greater level. Humanity has to wake up to this reality that we aren’t just sitting here on a rock independent from the room we’re in. We are in a bigger house and we don’t know it. That house impacts our evolution as galactic children, you might say.

When we become aware of this, and this is what astrology helps us to do, it helps us understand sort of the… I’m going to say this and hope not to go down a different tangent, sort of to understand the personality, the character that we took on for this lifetime. Astrology can explain this to you. It explains the archetypal mixture that you chose for this lifetime. It gives you superpowers in some respects and it limits you in others. To choose these particular characteristics, archetypal characteristics to drive you down a certain path in your life, a writer, a soul that comes into a lifetime who wants to be a writer is going to choose specific archetypal energies to drive them towards writing, not race car driving. You’re going to choose a lot of Aries if you want to be a race car driver. If you want to be a writer, you’re going to choose a lot of probably earth and water signs. Not to say there aren’t some amazing fire sign writers, probably are.
