If you’ve read The Sophia Code, you’ve probably considered building an alter for yourself. Maybe you already have! I’ve never been an alter type of person, but my recent IKEA project opened the door for it. What a cool experience! Read more »

My life is shifting rapidly now. There are days where I wonder if my writing has any coherent order. One inspired post doesn’t necessarily lead to another, but within the sea of expansion I’m in, they’re all connected.
I just completed this IKEA project. I had no plans to do this – I just needed some wifi shades, but IKEA wouldn’t ship them to me unless my order was big enough. SMH. This spurred the idea to build what you see in that image. I realized it could also support the Sophia Code Dragon Tribe alter I had been contemplating.
I’m not really an alter kind of person. This is new to me. Why would I have stuff lying around, only to collect dust? What I didn’t realize however, is that having a physical alter creates an experience with it, that you did not have before. It’s a physical representation of something happening on ethereal levels. It’s bringing that ethereal experience into the physical experience. It’s blending the two. I interact with that alter and the ethereal floods into the physical. If you’re contemplating building an alter, I’d say it’s worth the effort for this reason alone. Buy some Swiffer dusters to combat the dust ha!
