There is no love but God’s
The Point — The Course uses “Love” much more radically than ordinary language. Love cannot be partial, selective, conditional, changing, or reserved for certain people while withheld from others. If Love is one, then every boundary placed around it introduces something unlike Love. This does not mean every relationship takes the same form or that ordinary human preferences disappear. It means the content of Love cannot become exclusion without becoming something else. Because the Course identifies your true Self with Love, every boundary placed around Love is simultaneously a boundary placed around your own identity.
What’s Undone — The belief that Love can remain fully itself while being selectively extended according to judgment, merit, preference, or specialness.
Where It Fits — Lesson 126 established that giving and receiving are one. Lesson 127 explains why Love itself must therefore be non-exclusive. A useful compression is: LOVE = NON-EXCLUSION.
The Takeaway — Every place where Love ends marks a boundary the mind has placed around its own Self.
