Review of Lessons 31–35
The Point — The world can seem like a prison or become a place where freedom is learned. The difference lies in the purpose your mind gives it. When you use everything to confirm separation and helplessness, confinement seems unavoidable. As forgiveness changes that purpose, the same field of experience can reveal peace and shared holiness. The review joins freedom with identity: God’s Son has not truly become the prisoner you imagine. You begin recognizing that freedom as the world you forgive reflects your changed seeing back to you.
What The Review Adds — The world receives a new purpose. It becomes a place where you can discover release, instead of merely something to escape. The review also describes how forgiveness returns to awareness: you extend it in your seeing, and what you see helps you recognize your own holiness. Its prison imagery concerns the mind’s attachment to a false identity; it does not assign blame for mistreatment.
The Takeaway — What seemed to imprison me can become a place where I learn freedom.
