Creation’s gentleness is all I see
The Point — The frightening world was not simply observed; the mind projected its own guilt onto it and then saw that guilt looking back. This is why the world seemed fierce. Jesus asks you to reverse the projection. If fear came from the interpretation rather than from creation itself, then another state of mind can reveal another world. Creation’s gentleness becomes visible as the mind stops covering it with its own accusation.
