Love created me like Itself
The Point — Now Jesus grounds function in identity. Your true characteristics do not originate in personality, history, body, achievement, wounds, or self-concept. They originate in your Source. If Love created you, then what is fundamentally true of Love must also characterize what you are. The practice asks you to move beyond the collection of images you call yourself and toward something prior to all of them. This is not positive affirmation attempting to manufacture a better self-image. It is the opposite: relinquishing self-images long enough to discover the Self they conceal.
What’s Undone — The assumption that you define yourself—or that experience has successfully redefined what God created.
Where It Fits — Function now gains its foundation. You forgive because you are light. You are light because Love created you like Itself.
Practice Translation — The exercise is not trying to improve your ego with nicer adjectives. It is trying to move beneath the entire self-concept.
The Takeaway — You do not become like Love through spiritual improvement; you uncover the Self that Love already created like Itself.
