I am surrounded by the Love of God
The Point — Jesus replaces the body’s boundary with something entirely different: Love has no boundary at all. God is before you, behind you, beside you, wherever you seem to stand, and reflected in everything truly real. The separate self experiences space as evidence of distance—God over there, me over here, other people somewhere else. The lesson dissolves that architecture by placing everything within one encompassing Love. If Love surrounds and contains all that is, separation has nowhere real to occur.
What’s Undone — The spatial picture of Reality: me here → others there → God somewhere beyond us all.
Where It Fits — The body seemed to create a boundary around the self. 264 replaces the boundary with the recognition that I am already held within Love that has no outside.
The Takeaway — The body draws a border around the self; Love reveals that Reality has no border and no outside.
